REN ClearCalm3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser

I thought I would give a review on the REN ClearCalm3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser. A year ago I would never have bought this as I would've said it was too expensive, but blogging sure does change you! The main reason why I got this is because my skin has been quite bad lately and I have a cluster of spots around my chin and cheek area. I think this is partly hormonal and probably my lack of water and healthy eating. (oops)

I had used this cleanser before but I decided to invest in it myself; I love the scent, I think it smells of lavender, but it's very subtle and not overpowering. It has a lovely creamy clay texture and I massage it all around my dry face for 1-2 minutes (as instructed).

It doesn't work miracles; it doesn't make spots disappear but it definitely calms them down and reduces the redness. I also think it's helping prevent my spots from getting worse, rather than them getting out of control!

I have been loving this so far and I do think it's worth the £18 price tag and if my skin continues in this bad way, I may have to repurchase when it runs out.

  4. Dearest Faye, If you're struggling with blemishes please try Efflacar Duo by la Roche Posay, it has done wonders for my skin and I promise it will change yours as well!

  5. This must have been a sign to buy this because I've been searching all my favorite blogs for anti-redness and calming creams. My skin has been acting up and while I'd love the pimples to go away, what I really want is for my skin to just be CALM.
