Laura Geller Beauty range: here
Topshop Beauty range: here

I'm very lucky enough to be sent pretty packages from time to time and I love this little one I got from Feel Unique. I love how Feel Unique are constantly updating their brands and continuing to improve they're offering and when I found out the Topshop Beauty range was going to be available I got rather excited. I often forget about their beauty products but I love their packaging and the variety they offer.

I got sent a gorgeous deep red nail polish shade in Exhibit which I have already been wearing and loving on my nails. I have also already tried the Lip Polish in this gorgeous bright red shade Honk which is great for anyone that loves a glossy, moisturised lip; I think this would be a great product for Summer. I'm yet to try the Cheek Jelly as I'm not too sure about the colour, but I'll definitely give it a go!

I've never heard of the Laura Geller Beauty brand before but I love the shade of this lip crayon so I can't wait to give it a test run!

Who else is excited by these new brands at Feel Unique?

I am seriously loving living in our own place. Not only can we eat and do what we want, but we can create our own space, exactly how we want it. I have been thinking about how I'd want my own space for a while now, so I'd slowly been putting together a mood board, which I've shown you above. Some bits are items that I wanted before we had them and others I added in once we had purchased them. Some things we still haven't got or won't get but this is the look I was going for.

Pinterest is where I get my main inspiration but I love the general homey feel with random pops of colour and copper pieces. The Duck Egg Floorlamp from The Range has to be one of my favourite items as it was such a reasonable price compared to others around. Our IKEA sofa was something we weren't originally sold on but after trawling sofa shops weekend after weekend, we kept coming back to it, and I'm glad we did as it's super comfy.

I thought I would start introducing you to our flat, little spaces at a time. I am loving putting everything together and adding bits as we go. These pendant lampshades from Dunelm Mill were another lovely touch we added recently and I think they fit perfectly. We have yellow ones in the lounge area and duck egg blue ones elsewhere in the place.

The dining table is another favourite of mine and this is actually a second hand IKEA one which we got for a great price! The chairs were originally from Tesco but I think they go perfectly; I love the shape of the backs.

I can't wait to share more areas of the flat with you when we get more of the rooms settled, but for now I hope you like this taster. Let me know if you enjoy homey posts. I recently did a home haul on my YouTube where I showed lots of new accessories we bought for the flat.

For Christmas I was lucky enough to get the gorgeous ZOEVA Rose Gold set. Although I love the Real Techniques brushes and used them every day, I was interested in trying out some new brushes, and what's not to want about this beautiful set?

I've used most of these brushes now and I can honestly say, they are lovely! They are super fluffy and make makeup glide on wonderfully. The Silk Finish brush is perfect for applying liquid foundation and it's overtaken my love for the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. I'm also really enjoying the Face Shape brush for applying concealer.

Although I wouldn't personally buy this set for myself as I think it's much nicer as a gift, I think the price is really decent considering you are getting eight lovely brushes that cover all bases for your makeup application.

New Year, New Start

I thought treating myself to this lovely organiser would keep me a bit more organised this year, although this hasn't started well with me posting this halfway into January! This gorgeous organiser was from A Beautiful Mess, but unfortunately it's sold out now, but Paperchase and Kate Spade offer some great alternatives. I love the prettiness and how it should keep me organised, as well as inspired with the lovely quotes.

This year my absolute dream would be to hit 2000 bloglovin followers and 30000 subscribers so I'm planning on trying my best to make this happen, because it's a big ask! Although I need to keep my blog as regular as possible, I also don't want to put too much pressure on myself as it becomes a chore and not enjoyable for me; this isn't my job, it's my hobby, so I need to enjoy it for what it is.

As most of you will know if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, Dan and I have moved out and into a lovely flat. I'm hoping to incorporate a lot more lifestyle/ home posts on here now so let me know what you'd like to see! I know this is a bit of a random post but I just wanted to touch base and let you know that I want to make the best effort possible with my blog this year (whilst keeping it enjoyable and not stressful)!

Thanks for sticking by and reading this, let me know in the comments what you'd like to see on my blog this year...
