French Skincare Additions

I love trying to mix up my collections a bit more so when I was asked by My French Apothecary to choose some products, I was very happy. I already owned the Nuxe Reve de Miel Stick Levres Hydratant Lip Moisturising Stick so I thought I would give the potted version of the Lip Balm a go; I am finding the product very VERY thick, which is obviously the idea, but I'm just not sure I'm used to it yet after using the stick version. It is clearly very moisturising but I feel like the thickness almost sits on top, rather than sinking in, but hopefully I will start enjoying it a bit more soon.

One of my favourite skincare products to use when I'm having a bad breakout is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo as I find it works wonders on reducing and getting rid of my spots and scars. I have wanted to try the + version for a while so I can't wait to start using this a bit more when I get some little nasties.

The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is another product I've been wanting to try for a while but just haven't got round to it before. When I first sprayed this, I found the minty scent quite strong and I'm yet to try this but I've been told by friends and heard from bloggers that this is extremely refreshing and a good addition to the routine. I can't wait to start using this in amongst my cleansers and toners.

I'd love to know if any of you have tried these products before?

  1. I used a whole tube of Effaclar Duo and didn't get on with it unfortunately :( My skin came out in lumps and bumps every time - but I think I'm in the minority on that one!
I need to try the Reve de Miel lip balm as I'm a bit of a lip balm addict :)

  2. I recently purchased the NUXE Rev de Miel and am lusting after the Caudalie beauty elixir! Something about french brands is just so, so appealing.
