Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Unapologetic
Some of you may know that my all time favourite lip product (big statement I know), would have to be the long lasting Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain in Lovesick. Not only do I love the vibrant pink shade, the lasting power of the stain is amazing. I'm a no-fuss kind of girl so anything that requires little re-application is a big must for me.
When I heard they were bringing out these new Colorburst balms I was pretty excited because I am a sucker for a lip product. Between the matte and lacquer versions, I knew I would have to try one of the matte shades as I'm not a massive fan of a glossy lip on myself.
I decided to go for Unapolegetic as it sits between a pink and an orange, a perfect pop of colour in my opinion. I was slightly worried that the application would be a bit chalky, like the Topshop lip sticks but to my surprise, it glides on amazingly and it's quite moisturing too. The only fault I would have to point out is that it is quite transferabe to start with so you have to be careful when eating etc; I also don't find it to be as long lasting as the their lip stains but it's definitely up there with my favourite lip products and I've been wearing it rather a lot throughout January.
Have any of you tried these products out?

Ahh I love matte finishes and I've been waiting for these for ages! Chubby sticks are so much easier to apply with precision than a clunky bottomed lipstick. Lovely colour too

I love these and fine some of the colours to be long wearing on me such as striking and showy, however for the nuder shades i agree it wasn't the best lasting

So far I've only tried the shade Stand Out, and I absolutely love it. I will have to pick this shade up for summertime though, for sure! x

ReplyDeleteLove this shade. I'm still not sure about these matte balms as I do prefer the glossier version but this does look really nice.
