bye bye England!

Lipstick: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain in Lovesick
Necklace: Debenhams
Shirt: Charity shop
Dress: Primark
This is just a silly outtake photo from a recent video of mine, I just thought I would put it alongside this post as I'm feeling quite silly excited. Most of you will know by now that I am heading to America for three weeks...TOMORROW!

I thought I would just say a little goodbye as I haven't been the best at blogging lately but I will have plenty of photos and stories to share with you when I get back from my adventure.

If you don't know I will be visiting New York, Las Vegas, Yosemite, San Francisco, Monterey, Cambria, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. I have never done anything like this before; Dan and I decided about a year or so ago that we wanted to do something exciting when we finished university. We both stayed at home during our uni days so we felt it was time to do something out of the ordinary.

Most people are saying "have a nice holiday" but we don't really see it as a 'holiday' as such; we're doing a lot of travelling, including flying and driving and we're slightly slumming it in some places, so we see it as a little adventure. I am super excited but at the same time I'm feeling quite apprehensive, this will (crazily) be the longest I've ever been away from home and for a twenty one year old, I think that's pretty unusual.

I am so looking forward to sharing my time with you and I will be vlogging the three weeks for my YouTube which is so exciting and I can't wait for this. I'm mainly vlogging for us and our family, for the memories, but I am so happy to be able to share it with lots of other people too.

Thank you to all my lovely readers for being my readers and I will speak to you very soon, have a good three weeks!!

something on a sunday: palmers natural bronze gradual tanner

Palmers Natural Bronze Gradual Tanning Moisturiser, £5.35
Today's post is dedicated to this much talked about Palmer's gradual tanner. I didn't want to buy into this blogging buzz but I needed to get my tan on and had no products to use. A lot of bloggers had been raving about this so I decided to buy into it.

The first time I used this was a bit of a disaster, after reading that it was really easy to apply and didn't cause patches, I slapped a lot of it on, not worrying too much about it. However, when I woke up, I had a bit of a scare because I had turned into an oompa loomper and it wasn't the most even application!

The next time I used this I was a lot more careful and I really made sure it was rubbed in evenly. When I woke up, it looked very natural and I was very pleased with it.

One application is enough for my pale skin but it can easily be built up to be dark. It lasts a good few days before you need to use it again and it is extremely moisturising.

If you want to try a new gradual tanner I would definitely recommend this; it does smell quite strong but it's not as unpleasant as other tanning products.

Have any of you tried this?
