review: bourjois magic nail polish remover

Hello everyone,

Today I'm sharing my first review of one of my Christmas presents. I know it hasn't been very long but I've already used this on numerous occasions because I love to change my nail polish regularly.

I love the cute pink tub of this Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover and it has really impressed me so far...

Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover, £4.99

Unfortunately it doesn't take polish off in 'one second', like it claims, but it doesn't take long at all, especially not as long as it does with your average polish remover and cotton pads.

When you open the tub, you can see a black sponge which is soaked in the formula, with a hole in the middle, where you put your finger down to the bottom. The smell of the product is quite sweet which is a nice change from the horrible bitter smell of other nail polish removers.

I haven't quite decided whether it is worth the £4.99 price tag, as an average nail polish remover, combined with a big packet of cotton pads would only cost about £2 (if you were lucky). However, it means I don't waste 100s of cotton pads and it is a lot quicker than the usual process. As this was a present, I would probably consider buying this when this one runs out, due to the 'no-fuss' removal.

It really is a great product for someone like me, that loves to change their nail polish every few days and who wants to quickly whip off those chipped nails!

Have you tried Bourjois' Magic Nail Polish Remover or are you wanting to?
I hope you're all recovering from Christmas and New Years, am I the only one with post-Christmas blues?

  2. This sounds pretty good for when you're in a hurry and can't be bothered with the mess of cotton wool pads xx
