an amazing liquid highlighter

So the other day, I had a bit of a disaster. It was purely my fault...I accidentally spilt nail polish remover on my laptop keys so I immediately panicked and wiped it off but the damage was already done. Some keys were working but others were not and now I am left with half a keyboard basically. The problem is, I have a password on my laptop so I couldn't even log in because I needed the number keys and those are the ones that aren't working.

I think I've rambled enough now but the long and short of it is...I can't blog on my laptop BUT I got an iPad this year and after reading Gem's extremely helpful post (on Gemfatale's blog) about blogging on iPads, I have decided to give it a go. This is my attempt so it might go wrong/ look terrible and it might not even get posted. I am trying out a new font for a bit of a change.

I thought I would introduce you to one of my favourite things at the moment...Accessorize's liquid highlighter. I have the Collection Shimmer Shades and really liked them but I still felt like I had a highlighter hole in my makeup bag. When I went to Reading to visit friends, Megan (who has a wonderful blog: megsbudgetboutique) told us she has recently bought it and loved it so we tried it out and fell in love too.

I of course ended up buying it from Superdrug and I'm so glad I did. It costs £7.00 normally but for some reason on the Superdrug website it says it's £3.95 so it must be reduced at the moment (even better) which I think is really reasonable considering it will last a long time as you don't need to use much at a time. I just dab a tiny amount across the top of my cheeks and it adds a lovely glow.

At first I was sceptical of the liquid idea because I hadn't seen one before but I actually prefer it to powder highlighters because it seems easier to apply.

I think the packaging is horrendous and so tacky/cheap but I suppose you get what you pay for?

I do have to say that I'm a novice when it comes to highlighters but I do think this one is well worth the money and it's not exactly going to break the bank!

  1. I definitely want to try this, I'm a sucker for a good highlighter!x

  2. Yeah you definitely should, it's really good! Xx
